6) Here they are in videos, with a genuine (= authentique) English accent (les terminaisons en "-ght", en [sh], diffèrent de la "Received Pronunciation" = prononciation classique en [t] !), AND with the spelling!

9) State verbs (= Verbes d'état):

10) "Used to" / simple past...
- USED TO + BV = pour parler d'une habitude passée et révolue (= qui n'est plus). C'est le verbe "to use" qui est conjugué au prétérit/simple past.
"USED TO + BV" est différent de:
- be used to + BVing = avoir l'habitude de (BE conjugable à tous les temps)
- get used to + BVing = prendre l'habitude de / s'habituer à (GET conjugable à tous les temps)
Translate the following sentences:
1. Autrefois, je fumais.
2. Maintenant, je ne fume plus. Je me suis habituée à ne pas fumer.
3. Quand j'étais jeune, je mangeais cinq repas par jour ! Maintenant, j'ai l'habitude de manger quatre fois par jour seulement.
4. Ils vont devoir s'habituer à se taire.
5. Avant, les gens n'étaient pas aussi impolis !
